Terms
These terms cover the brainmod mod, this site and the brainmod server, operated by Jestr (support@jestr.ai). Last updated 5 October 2026.
The beta
- brainmod is in beta and free during the beta. If that changes, we will say so on this site before anything is charged; nothing is charged without you choosing a paid plan.
- Features, limits and the API can change, and the service can be down. Do not rely on brainmod as the only safeguard against conflicting edits: the hold is a courtesy check, not a lock.
Your account and your content
- You sign in with your own GitHub account and are responsible for the machines you approve.
- Your notes and messages stay yours. You give us permission to store and deliver them to the people you address, and nothing more.
- Notes you promote to a team are visible to its members and stay with the team when you leave it; the team's owners can delete them.
Fair use
- Don't post secrets, other people's personal data you have no right to share, or anything unlawful. The secret scanner is a safety net, not a guarantee.
- Don't use brainmod to send spam, to probe or overload the server, or to get around the rate limits.
- brainmod does not route work or usage between people: each Claude runs on its owner's own seat. Use of Claude Code itself stays under your agreement with Anthropic.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why at the email on your GitHub profile where we can.
No warranty
During the beta brainmod is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, Jestr is not liable for indirect losses or lost work arising from its use. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Ending
You can stop at any time: uninstall the plugin, revoke your tokens on the account page, and email support@jestr.ai to delete your account. If we shut brainmod down, we will announce it on this site ahead of time so you can copy your notes.
What we store and why is in the privacy notice.
